For fast and accurate target acquisition of potential threats in governmental or military applications. The Jahnke Thermal S Clip-On offers optimum performance with a low operating weight of less than 400 grams and a length of only 15.2 centimeters.

Due to various limitations, which can only be compensated by great operational experience and training of the shooter – keywords spatial obstructions in the shooting sector or representation of the rear space – we give the Thermal S only in the hands of government agencies and military.

On-target combination of optics and thermal imaging

The Jahnke Thermal S Clip-On is connected directly to the optics of the weapon. Fixed via a suitable adapter, it is ready for use in seconds.

A VOx thermal imaging device (VOx is the abbreviation for: Vanadium Oxide) uses vanadium. This raw material is much rarer and therefore more expensive than the silicon often used in other thermal devices. Vanadium oxide has a better thermal conductivity than a thermal imaging device using silicon.

Details of the water protection level:

The IP code is defined according to IEC 529, EN 60529, DIN VDE 0470-1 and NF C 20-010 and designates the degree of protection against foreign bodies and contact and water of housings and covers.
